I depicted myself peeking through the forces of right and wrong and the narratives that claimed to offer solutions, even as I knew there was nothing to fix. Before I found my voice, I often felt like I was fading into the background, overwhelmed by the chaos of life’s upheaval. However, while the chaos took shape around me, it failed to define me, and this painting captures a journey toward resilience and self-discovery.
