Distorted Memories, 2024
Digital Mixed Media
An exploration of internal emotions and personal memories, inspired by an antique jewelry box passed down through my family. Using a highly experimental process, I layered oil paint on metal, digital mockups, distortions, and color editing to create a rich, textured composition. The bright colors and strong bursts of light represent the vivid fragments of memory—fleeting moments that shine brightly but remain incomplete in their form. I aimed to reflect on how memories are deeply personal and shaped by individual perception, where certain details remain vivid while others fade into abstraction.
